Holyfica Red

We live in a magickal world. Some can see this, some choose not to, and still others are just - on another journey spiritually. This painting has everything to do with the colors and subject matter. I created this image at the same time I was attending the figure drawing session these ladies were posing for....and I was deeply affected by the music that accompanied the postures they chose in a day job they undertook that gives little recognition for what they offer the artists surrounding them. It was all I could do not to cry through the process of exemplifying their own journey in the creation of mine - and I made one in red as well as blue. Could these angels be the lights shifting from blue to red in our lives? How does each one make you feel? I'm curious.
